Nordea wants to be the party where everybody is on the dance floor
There are still far fewer women than men with managerial roles at Nordea in Denmark and senior candidates rarely get jobs at the bank. These are a few of the key issues that Finansforbundet in Nordea (FiN) wants to take up with leaders in a new council.
"I have the best colleagues in the world" - six Skulderklap prize winners were celebrated
Claus, Dorte, Guru, Lone, Martin and Stine received speeches, lunch and a prize of DKK 5,000 each, when this year's six winners of the Skulderklap prize (‘a pat on the back’) were celebrated.
The Skulderklap prize means a lot to me
“Spreads positivity and energy in the department, always ready to help.” Guru Suresh Pardeshi, who is an Incident Manager, is highly appreciated by his colleagues and one of this year’s recipients of the Skulderklap prize (the Danish word for an approving pat on the back).
Whatever happened to celebration?
"I would have liked if there had been time for our efforts – our results, our victory – to sink in in the same way. Time for us to rejoice as a team and a little … just a little … time to re-energise." Read the editorial by Dorrit Brandt, president of Finansforbundet in Nordea
Your development is far too important to leave to others!
“Remember the 70-20-10 guideline: Development is so much more than just taking a course. It can also be job rotation, peer training, reading an article - there are so many options!" underlines the board members Pierre Christensen and Mona Svan.

Advisory board in Finansforbundet in Nordea is looking for participants
The board in Finansforbundet in Nordea wishes to receive constructive criticism and new ideas from employees in Nordea on how Finansforbundet in Nordea can develop as a union and how the community and ownership to the decisions in the bank can become even stronger.
Tough boys don’t cry
Contract employees often face the prejudice that they make so much money that they can manage on their own. And many of them have their own preconceived notions that keep them from using Finansforbundet in Nordea’s (FiN) offers, says Peter Klinke, who has been a union representative at Markets for many years.
A time of accounting
In this editorial, Dorrit Brandt, president of Finansforbundet in Nordea, talks about the unregistered work. Nordea’s latest quarterly results made very positive headlines but the prize is stress, overtime work, sleepless nights and all the times when family plans were postponed for “work reasons”.
