Become a member

If you are a member of a different unemployment insurance fund, it is easy to switch to Finansforbundet's  unemployment insurance fund. We will transfer your rights and close down the membership in your current unemployment insurance fund, so that you don’t have to. 

If you are already a member of A&Til, you are automatically a member of X unemployment insurance fund. Your membership fee and seniority will remain as they are, so you don’t have to do anything.

For students and apprentices

The union is free for the first year. After that, you pay 20 DKK per month.

Selected benefits

  • 12 months of union membership for 0 DKK
  • Contents insurance for 0 DKK
  • Access to over 250 courses per year, for example Excel and VBA
  • Advice on well-being, student jobs and career matters
  • Advice on well-being, student jobs and career matters
  • Right to unemployment benefits after finishing your studies
  • Free membership of the unemployment insurance (for a maximum of 5 years)

For the unemployed

The first three months are free. Your membership fee is reduced during periods of unemployment.
