Paid dental and health insurance

If you are employed in a student job in a financial services company and are covered by the Standard Collective Agreement or one of Finansforbundet’s Company Collective Agreements, you are, just like your full-time colleagues, entitled to both dental insurance and health insurance paid for by your employer. This can provide reimbursement of up to 100% of your dental treatment costs or invoices from a physiotherapist/chiropractor, as well as access to prompt treatment.

Both the dental insurance and the health insurance are benefits that Finansforbundet has secured for you through collective bargaining with employers in the financial sector.

Financial support for dental treatment costs

If you are employed in a student job with a company covered by the Standard Collective Agreement or one of Finansforbundet’s Company Collective Agreements, you are covered by the company’s dental insurance. The insurance may vary from company to company, but it must as a minimum include the following terms:

• An annual deductible of no more than DKK 1,000.
• Coverage of expenses up to DKK 30,000 per year.
• The insurance may cover, for example, fillings, X-rays, root canal treatment, periodontitis treatment and oral surgery.

Prompt treatment through the health insurance

If you are employed by a company covered by the Standard Collective Agreement or one of Finansforbundet’s Company Collective Agreements, you are also covered by the company’s health insurance. The health insurance allows you, among other things, to have expenses covered for treatment by a psychologist, chiropractor, physiotherapist or at a private hospital.

The health insurance must also ensure that you gain quick access to treatment if you become ill or suffer an injury.
