The Free choice account

You can have up to 400 hours saved i the Free choice account. You decide whether the hours should be taken as time off or paid out, and you can owe up to 37 hours.

What is the Free choice account?

The Free choice account is your personal account, where you may save up to 400 hours or owe up to 37 hours. However, the company may choose to pay out any hours exceeding 320 on May 1st each year. If you have a specific reason for keeping the hours, you can make an agreement with the company.

What may I deposit in the the Free choice account? 

Here are some examples of what you may usually deposit in your Free Choice Account

  • The 6th week of holiday 
  • Dependants' leave days 
  • Overtime/additional work 
  • Supplements for working odd hours 
  • Payment for on-call time etc.
