New Vice President of Finansforbundet in Nordea
Louise Have Lund has been elected as the new vice president of Finansforbundet in Nordea. Mette Balck Mejlby continues as a non-executive member of the board
Thank you to all of you who participated in the annual general meeting last Friday.
In accordance with the bylaws, the board of directors shall constitute itself with a vice president at its first meeting after the annual general meeting. Here, Louise Have Lund has been elected as the new vice president. She replaces Mette Balck Mejlby in the role.
"I would like to thank Mette for a really good collaboration. We have been partnering in Finansforbundet in Nordea's presidency since 2023. Mette has been a strong and dedicated partner, and I am grateful for everything we have built together in the presidency. I am pleased that we can still benefit from Mette's skills the coming year. I look forward to welcoming Louise and to the collaboration we will have in the future," says president Kasper Skovgaard Pedersen.
Even closer to the members and union representatives
Louise Have Lund is looking forward to getting started with the work as vice president:
"Thank you for the vote of confidence from my colleagues - it means a lot to me. My focus is to look ahead and work for a trade union that is even closer to the members and our union representatives. With more transparency and dialogue, we can strengthen the direction of our community together. My goal is to continue to fight for a good working life and good working conditions that take into account the whole person," she says.
Louise Have Lund has worked at Nordea since 2015. She started as a union representative in 2017 and was elected to Finansforbundet in Nordea's board in 2020. She has an academy degree in financial consulting and real estate. Louise is 46 years old and lives with her husband Søren and two children in Ishøj village.
Continues at full force
In the summer of 2025, Mette decided and informed the board that she will not stand for re-election for a new term when her mandate expires in the spring of 2027. After more than 11 exciting and developing years at Finansforbundet in Nordea - including the last 7 years as vice president - she is now looking forward to trying out new opportunities. She will continue at full force on the board for the remaining election period.
Mette was elected to Finansforbundet in Nordea's board in 2015 and has been vice president since 2019.
Election of the presidency
The president is elected directly by the members at the annual general meeting. Kasper Skovgaard Pedersen was appointed acting president of Finansforbundet in Nordea in October 2023 after the previous president Dorrit Brandt had been elected as Finansforbundet's new president at a national meeting. Kasper was first elected as president by the members at the annual general meeting in 2024. He was last re-elected in 2025.
The board constitutes itself with a vice president and treasurer at the first meeting after an annual general meeting. This is where Louise Have Lund has been elected as the new vice president.
As part of the constitution, Jeppe Lermark Pieszak will continue unchanged as treasurer.
