At the beginning of the year, we invited you to participate in the well-being survey conducted by Finansforbundet.

The results are now available and give us insights into well-being and stress levels among employees at Danske Bank.

The figures are compared with what colleagues in other parts of the financial sector have answered, and how employees at Danske Bank responded two years ago.

Stress

  • 25 percent of respondents at Danske Bank feel stressed all the time or often, compared to 21 percent in the rest of the financial sector.

  • The figure has increased by three percentage points since 2024. Among colleagues at other banks and financial institutions, the stress level has increased from 19 to 21 percent.

Well-being
Are you happy at work?

  • 31 percent of respondents at Danske Bank say so to a great extent, while 41 percent say so to some extent.
  • For colleagues in the rest of the financial sector, the corresponding figures are 32 percent (to a great extent) and 40 percent (to some extent).
  • More employees are happy at work to a great extent at Danske Bank today than two years ago (the figure has increased from 28 to 31 percent).
  • In the rest of the financial sector, well-being has fallen significantly. Today, 32 percent are happy to a great extent, while two years ago the figure was 40 percent.

Thank you for sharing your insights

Chairman of Finansforbundet i Danske Bank, Kirsten Ebbe Brich, is not surprised by the figures.

“First of all, I would like to thank the many members who have spent a few minutes sharing their experiences of well-being and stress. It gives us valuable knowledge about the level of well-being and stress as an employee at Danske Bank,” she says and elaborates:

“The figures confirm what we already know from our close contact with our union representatives. However, it is important to constantly be up to date on the working environment in all corners of the bank, and the well-being survey helps uncover that. In addition, it is always valuable to be able to compare the figures over time and benchmark with other parts of the financial sector".

Where and how do we use the figures?

The figures have been used as aa basis for discussion in the Working Environment Committee (AMU and Group Cooperation Committee (SU) about the challenges we see when we compare with the other areas within Finansforbundet, and with what the figures looked like two years ago.

In addition, we are in dialogue with the area union representatives in your business unit in relation to the local results.
