From Copilot to AI agents: Build your first digital assistant
Learn how to move from using AI to ask questions to building a simple AI agent that can help with recurring tasks and add value to your work.
You will gain insight into
- What distinguishes an AI agent from a standard chatbot
- How to design, test and improve an agent
- When Copilot is sufficient and when Copilot Studio becomes relevant
- How to share and use agents when collaborating with others
We will focus on three key topics:
- Agent design: Purpose, target audience, context, instructions, trigger, boundaries, human review and recipient.
- Build, test and improve: Quality, reliability and continuous improvement.
- Sharing and scaling: Permissions, collaboration and when Copilot Studio becomes relevant.
AI agents are the next step in the evolution of generative AI. Stefano Vincenti will show you how to build a simple agent using instructions and existing material. You will gain insight into design principles, quality assurance and the practical considerations involved when AI is used to carry out tasks more independently. Afterwards, you will receive a prompt guide, the slides and a link to the recording, enabling you to continue working independently.
The training will primarily use the premium licence for Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio. Please note that the content may be subject to change following updates to Microsoft Office.
