Danske Unions

Danske Unions is a cross-border union of unions in the Danske Bank Group. Danske Unions consists of employee representatives from the local unions in Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Northern Ireland/the UK, Norway and Sweden.

Our cooperation is based on the assumption that anything that matters to your colleagues in other countries may also affect you.

EWC

Danske Bank's European works Council (EWC) is the bank's international works Council, where a total of 17 Danske Bank employees represent their colleagues from seven different countries. The EWC meets twice a year and is also convened when necessary.

The bank is permanently represented by HR management, while other members of management participate depending on the agenda.

From Finansforbundet i Danske Bank, our chairman and three members of the board are present.

EWC is where management informs and consults the employees on developments in the bank and other topics of importance to employees in several countries, such as the organisation of the bank and group-wide initiatives affecting the employees.
