- Take away practical ideas for small adjustments in everyday leadership that help more people contribute at their best
Many leaders today work with teams of highly skilled specialists, analysts, or developers, where cognitive diversity is increasingly recognized as a strength. Many teams include neurodivergent employees, such as colleagues with ADHD, autism, or dyslexia. However, leadership practices are often designed around a narrow view of how people work and communicate, which can lead to misunderstandings, friction, and lost potential.
In this webinar, we explore common leadership misunderstandings when working with neurodivergent employees and what leaders can do instead. Topics include structure vs. ambiguity, energy and cognitive load, communication and information processing, psychological safety, and how to balance individual adjustments with team dynamics. The session will be conducted live and includes an anonymous Q&A to ensure psychological safety.
