Deltag i markeringen af ”Pride: Out Loud!” 

Finansforbundet støtter aktivt op om Copenhagen Prides juni-event og inviterer dig derfor til en aften i selskab medamerikanske Brandon Wolf, som overlevede angrebet på natklubben Pulse i USA i 2016. I dag er han pressesekretær for ”Human Rights Campaign”, der udfordrer anti-LGBTQIA+-lovgivning i USA. 

I sit foredrag taler Brandon om sine oplevelser, den aktuelle situation i USA og behovet for at stå op og udfordre diskrimination. 

Foredraget tager ca. 45 minutter. Efter en pause vil Brandon blive interviewet og der er mulighed for at stille spørgsmål.

Foredraget bliver holdt på engelsk og er en del af Copenhagen Prides markering af juni som international LGBTQ+ pride måned.

Vi mødes kl. 18 i på Scandic Falkoner, hvor Finansforbundet inviterer på lidt let at spise og drikke før foredraget. Herefter går vi samlet til foredraget. Dørene til foredraget åbner kl.19

Join us and celebrate the “Pride: Out loud!” event

Finansforbundet supports the Copenhagen Pride June event and invites you to an interesting lecture with Brandon Wolf.

Brand Wolfis a civil rights activist and survivor of the Pulse nightclub attack in Florida in 2016. Today he is Press Secretary of the Human Rights Campaign, and at the forefront of legal challenges to anti-LGBTQIA+ moves by the US administration.

He will share his story and his vital perspective on the current situation in the United States and the global impact this is having, as well as his own work at the Human Rights Campaign to challenge the most egregious cases.

Brandon will deliver his lecture in around 45 minutes. After an interval, a host will join him on stage and will explore some of the themes from his lecture and invite to questions from the audience.

The lecture will be in English and is part of Copenhagen Pride’s celebration of June as international LGBTQ+ Pride month.

The tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis (max 4 tickets per member).

We meet 6 PM at Scandic Falkoner for some light food and drinks. After this we will all go to the lecture. The doors to the lecture will open at 7 PM.
